Summary

Meetings began as a narrow acquisition feature and later expanded into a broader platform ambition. As strategy evolved and market timing shifted, workflows became fragmented and difficult to scale.

This work improved clarity and consistency across pre, in, and post meeting experiences by focusing on the moments that mattered most. Rather than over-expanding scope, the work prioritized shippable improvements that aligned teams around a realistic product direction.

Learnings

Treating Meetings as a standalone feature limited its competitive potential full workflows mattered more than surface-level differentiation.

Late market entry made behavior change harder, reinforcing the need for speed, clarity, and focused execution.

My role

Sole designer responsible for end-to-end UX and UI across the Meetings workflow, from pre-meeting setup through post-meeting review. Owned design decisions and delivery across multiple iterations within a highly competitive, fast-moving product space.

One key decision

I focused on unifying the post-meeting review experience first, where the most confusion and drop-off occurred, rather than attempting a full workflow overhaul upfront.

Impact

Modernized a legacy Meetings experience with a cohesive, end-to-end workflow across pre- and post-meeting states
Unified post-meeting review surfaces for reps, managers, and admins
Improved internal alignment by translating an evolving product strategy into shippable UX within tight constraints
